Today was the start of our baby clinic and mums and dads arrived with their newborns, keeping the doctors and nurses busy. The babies needed to be weighed, measured, have their temperatures taken and some needed a nappy change! We have to keep medical records and answer the telephone too. We also enjoyed some hospital small world play and were role playing patients arriving by helicopter and ambulance. There were special machines such as x-rays and operating lights, heart monitors and wheelchairs. We made some emergency vehicles with Mobilo and constructed garages and roadways for them.
