Nursery Class

Welcome to our vibrant Nursery where our youngest learners are given the opportunity to be actively involved in their learning, explore the world around them, learn and practise skills, discover, create and interact, through a broad and rich play-based curriculum. We aim to provide a caring, stimulating, happy environment in which children's individal differences and needs can be recognised and met, so that all aspects of their growth and early development are promoted. Our Nursery team consists of our teacher, Mrs Kaestner, and assistant, Mrs McMahon.

During November we will be learning about a range of vehicles and their different features and how they are suited to the jobs they do and the environments in which they operate. We will also be considering different methods of transport and are looking forward to a train journey and a talk from Translink staff as well as a trip to Armagh Planetarium to learn more about space travel. Of course, road and vehicle safety are of utmost importance, and we will be having visits from the police and fire service to tell us more about keeping safe. In December we will be enjoying traditional Christmas festivities as we decorate our Nursery and engage in Christmas crafts and baking. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend our Nursery Nativity and enjoy some refreshments on Tuesday 17th December.
