We have been using binoculars to look at the crows that like to sit in the trees across the road from Nursery. We also made some DIY binoculars which helped us focus our attention on objects outdoors. It was important for us to be quiet and still and find some good hiding places from which to spot birds. We found it was easier to hear the birds than see them. There was a very cheerful robin that sat in the tree and sang to us.
