We enjoyed our school visit to the Navan Centre in Armagh. We took part in practical workshops as monks writing in the scriptorium, discussing Viking artifacts and creating bookmarks with Runes, the Viking alphabet. The highlight was meeting the Viking warriors. A great day and a brilliant introduction to our new topic “The Vikings are Coming!!”
