Festive learning in P2/3

We have been enjoying Christmas activities. We read a story about Santa coming to Orchard County Primary School. We used all our reading strategies to help us read the story. We decided on a class sentence to write. We listened very hard to all the sounds in the words we were trying to spell. We remembered our finger spaces, capital letters and full stops. In our structured learning activities, we used the iPad to design Christmas jumpers. We painted pictures with Winter skies and trees. We made snowploughs with the mobile. We made models with playdough and used the ChatterPix app to make them come alive. We worked very hard and had great fun.
