Today in literacy we were learning how to read, follow and discuss instructions. We had a great discussion about why it is important to follow instructions and how this important life skill would help us when we are older. We also discussed various jobs and why following instructions in those specific roles was important. We used our discussion as the basis for our shared success criteria and created three criteria that we hoped to achieve by the end of our activity. We were tasked with reading and following instructions to play a game. The pictures below show us reading and playing our games correctly.
