This week was the perfect opportunity to look at freezing and melting. We enjoyed exploring it outdoors and noticed how the sun and salt made the ice melt. We were learning about staying safe in icy weather. We made our own ice cubes with dinosaurs trapped inside which we used our hand and arm strength and coordination to free, with a bit of help from warm water to start the melting process. We played a listening game when we listened to clues to select the right scarf and practised tying them. We are good at getting dressed for this colder weather.
