Thanks to Miss Bothwell and the Eco Warriors who successfully applied for our school to take part in the Hedgerow Heroes Scheme. Eleven schools were chosen out of the whole of Northern Ireland and we were very fortunate to be one of them. We have won 20m worth of hedges. P7 enjoyed learning about the importance of hedgerows for wildlife. They looked at various places in our school where we could plant our new hedges in the new year. They then played a tree identification game. We all thoroughly enjoyed our morning.
