P1/2 interviewed Jim the school busman to find out about his job and how we stay safe in a moving vehicle. The children then enjoyed looking for safety features in his yellow school bus, finding warning signs, a camera, hand rails and even a fire extinguisher inside. They listened to a recorded voice message asking them to fasten their seatbelts when Jim turned on the engine. Back in classroom P2 wrote recounts about the visit and P1 wrote a sentence and drew pictures about their dream job.
