We have been enjoying Julia Donaldson stories about Zog and we recalled the ingredients that Princess Pearl needed to make the king better. We listened to a story about Winnie the Witch’s cat being sick and had to think of ingredients for some magic medicine to make him better. We collected natural items to represent our ingredients and counted them out into the cauldron, using number stones to indicate how much we needed. With some waves of our magic wands and an ‘abracadabra’ the medicine worked and Wilbur felt much better!
