We loved getting out in the snow day. We collected the ice and put it in our water tray to observe how it changed over time. We discussed how the snow and ice may affect the birds and fish living in and near the ponds. We loved hearing the crunching and squelching noises our feet made in the snow, as well as throwing a few snowballs.
