Our Special Visitor

Today, one of our parents came into our classroom to tell us about Purim, which is a Jewish festival. We learned all about the story of Esther from the Bible. We made rattles and read the story. Each time we heard the name Haman, who was the wicked man in the story, we shook our rattles. We really enjoyed the sweet treat that the Jews eat at the Purim festival.
