P1/2 win the best dressed door competition to celebrate World Book Day

A couple of weeks ago we were finding out about castles and enjoyed reading a pop-up book about Jack and the beanstalk. Together we decided to make a beanstalk by folding paper and adding our own green handprints for the leaves. In groups we drew and painted the giant, rainbow and castle. We also planted broad beans seeds in the hope that our very own beanstalks would grow. P1/2 were so delighted to win this school competition. Mrs McMillan awarded us each with an Easter egg for our hard work and some other prizes to our class.
