We were delighted to mark 'Shared Education Week' by spending it with our partner school St. Patrick's again today. We split up into our groups when we arrived and we got to begin a new set of exciting activities linked to our topic 'Castles'. Some of us got to paint and make the fencing, keep and barbican of our Motte and Baileys. Others looked at and designed the clothes worn by the various people who lived in castles. Another group looked at the artist Eric Klee and replicated with 2D shapes and chalk his masterpiece 'Castle and Sun'. The final group were challenged to create tall towers using junk materials. What a fun-filled day we had with our friends!!!
