Today our class welcomed back the P6 pupils from St Patrick’s for our final school-based STEM coding Day. We split into our teams and sat with our friends for the classroom based activities. Mr Crawford introduced his group to the Swift Playgrounds app. This was a real opportunity to learn the powerful Swift coding language to solve puzzles and we enjoyed directing the character, Byte, through a series of adventures collecting crystal rewards. Mr Scullion’s group worked on basic circuits and the children enjoyed the opportunity to build complete circuits. Playtime on the MUGA was followed by lunch and finally an art based activity to share our highlights of this year’s programme. Great friends, great fun and looking forward to our celebration outing next term.
