We carried out an experiment with 2 plastic cups, coloured water and a piece of kitchen roll. This experiment showed us how the roots of trees are able to get water to the rest of the tree. We also discovered that the kitchen paper sometimes acted as a filter and the colour of water was sometimes different when it got to the second cup.
