People Who Help Us in School
We visited Mrs McMillan, our Principal, in her office and she showed us some of the equipment she uses to do her job such as her computer and telephone. We saw her cupboards full of very important files and we were amazed she had a list of all our names her wall. Everyone got a special sticker from Mrs McMillan and we look forward to going to her office in P1 to show her our great work. Mrs McCluskey, our school secretary, has the important job of answering the telephone and welcoming people into school. She also uses her computer a lot. She showed us the security cameras and we were able to see our Nursery! Next we went to the school kitchen where Glen, Tracey and Kirsty showed us around. We saw extra large sinks, dishwashers, ovens and mixers. They have a large amount of food to prepare daily for so many people. They also wear special uniforms. Today’s dinner included chips and sausages so we all think we would like to take school dinners next year. We also helped to make some jelly for dessert. We enjoyed a snack sitting at the tables the primary school children use in the canteen.
