As part of our World Book week activities the class found out about Beatrix Potter who wrote the Peter Rabbit stories. We now know that the character Peter Rabbit loved carrots and often got into trouble in Mr McGregor’s garden. During our Welly Wednesday activities the class went outside to find carrots just like Peter. There were words on each carrot which the children read and then using chalks they wrote the words on the playground and some other sentences.
