We filled our pots with potting soil, made a small hole and popped in a sunflower seed. They were so tiny we really had to control our pincer grip to pick them up. We have been looking at the seed inside fruit during snack preparation and thought they looked like smaller apple seeds as they are both oval shaped. Now we need to look after them and wait patiently to see green shoots!
