Primary one took a stroll through the deep dark wood of Davagh Forest and found a mouse, fox, snake and the Gruffalo of course. Charlene our tour guide told us all the familiar story and P1 enjoyed joining in with the actions. Visiting the observatory was fun, we found out about the planets, the Milky Way and the moon. P1 even had a go at making their own moon craters with friends from St Patrick’s. Time for lunch and then back on the bus, homeward bound to Orchard County. 🚌
