Primary one all enjoyed celebrating Red Day as part of their Feel Good Friday sessions. Beginning the school day with a game ‘Let’s pass the heart’ the children perfected their finer motor skills as they passed the paper heart around in a circle using only a clothes peg. They also greeted each other with a smile and a good morning. Primary one were encouraged to chat about their emotions and investigated ways of managing their feelings using breathing techniques, bear hugs, blowing bubbles and a simple yoga session.They also enjoyed making their own valentine heart to take home for a loved one.To end the day Primary one completed a treasure hunt and enjoyed running around to be active. Thank you to the PTA who provided shortbread hearts and sweets to take home. 💕
