As part of P1’s WAU topic work they have been looking at special clothes and uniforms worn by people who help us. Today P1 researched the job of the crossing patrol person and made their own STOP signs. Afterwards they headed outdoors to cross the road at our zebra crossing. Primary one have been taught to stop, look both ways, listen and think before crossing with a grown up. During play based learning the class enjoyed completing road safety jigsaws and had fun with the puppets.
