We shared in school assembly, listening to P3/4 sharing their tips for keeping us safe online. In nursery, we talked about AI assistants such as Alexa and Siri. We shared a story about Roo who loved asking Alexa for music to dance to, and to play songs and read stories. Roo discovered that, while smart tech is very useful, these are not real people and we can have the best fun when we are playing with our friends and family. We talked about the importance of telling a grown up if there is something online that makes us feel worried, scared or sad. We did some programming ourselves using BeeBot, putting in the commands for how we wanted it to move.
