We have been identifying and naming 2D shapes and learning about their properties. Through using shapes to make pictures, building with shapes and competing puzzles, we are experimenting with joining shapes to make new shapes. We went on a shape hunt and were very observant at finding shapes. Some of the children even found ovals, diamonds, semi circles and hexagons.
