Our class travelled to St Patrick's PS today for Day 2 of our programme. We were pleased to see our new friends and quickly settled into our groups. One group enjoyed working in the computer suite on Scratch tasks and the other group had a great introduction to our new Lego WeDo. Check out the pictures of us making our first model, a glowing snail, which we programmed on the iPads to flash, change colour and include sound effects. Our second challenge was to build a model cooling fan and control the speed, direction and duration with block coding. Lunch was followed by playtime and our day came to an end all too soon. Looking forward to our next session.
