This popular Once upon a time story was our genre last week. P1 retold using the story using story maps, made the character names using sound squares and completed syllable work. P2 rearranged sentences to retell the story and wrote about their favourite part. We all enjoyed making our very own little red hen. Many P1/2’s care for pet hens at home so they enjoyed sharing photographs of them through our class Google Classroom stream.
