Today we celebrated one of our favourite stories! Our wedding guests included scarecrows and farmers and we all had a meal of apple crumble and custard. We re-enacted the story through drama, sang scarecrow songs, played pass the pumpkin and had a barn dance. We each went home with a Betty O’Barley or Harry O’Hay scarecrow we made. It was ‘the best wedding yet, the wedding no one will ever forget’!
