During small group and together time the children are learning to sit with their legs ‘criss-cross apple sauce’ as this promotes their core strength and postural stability. We used visuals and Makaton signs for good listening - eyes looking, ears listening and quiet mouths. We practise sharing and taking turns. We enjoy stories, music and movement.
