We celebrated today by wearing red and pink and participating in some fun and games! We have been talking about our feelings and why we feel certain ways and sang ‘How do you feel today?’ Fine sand and kinetic sand gave us opportunities to practise our fine motor skills as we drew hearts and emotion faces and searched for heart shaped jewels. We took turns talking about who we loved and gave ourselves a self-hug as we know it’s important to love and care for ourselves too. In the assembly hall, we played Valentines Floor is Lava and Freeze Dance and all worked together using the Lycra to ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling!’ Very many thanks to the PTA for supplying us with heart shaped shortbread and sweets for snack. We also had two birthdays and some treats kindly made up for us to take home. We had made marshmallow treats and Valentines key rings. Happy Valentines everyone! ♥️
