P1/2 worked with tissue paper and felt to create their poppy pictures. During a whole school assembly we all stood really quietly for two minutes silence to remember and show respect for our service men and women, who presently serve or who have fought for our country. Thank you for keeping us all safe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
To all who made the ultimate sacrifice, we will never forget you, and to all the families and friends of those killed in war and conflict we hold you in our hearts today.
