World Book Day - Thursday 7th March 2024

This year to celebrate World Book Day we are proposing that:

P1 – P4 Dress up as a book character
P5 – P7 Create a wooden spoon storybook character

You are encouraged to choose a character from a book that you have read and enjoyed. Perhaps you could use the half term break to think about your costume, get started on your design and read the book that your chosen
character is from.

Of course, if you want to take part in both activities that would be wonderful, but it isn’t expected. Also, please do not feel you need to go out and buy expensive costumes, be creative with what you already have at home.

As in previous years, each class will parade around the hall or MUGA for the rest of the school.

Small prizes will be awarded for creativity but remember it’s the taking part that counts and ultimately finding the fun in reading!
