Yellow Day in Primary one

Primary one had a fun packed day of activities planned for Yellow Day; these included singing, dancing, crafting and learning about their feelings. They chatted together about different emotions that they can feel and read a great story entitled Ruby’s Worry. Primary one now all know that by chatting about a worry it helps to make it smaller and then hopefully disappear. Outdoors Primary one enjoyed a yellow colour hunt and some physical play tasks to get their hearts pumping. Riding the bikes, spinning in the giant balance spinning tops, building yellow towers, chalk doodling and digging in the gravel pit were favourites. The day ended with P6/7 buddies reading them stories on the MUGA and having a chat about their day.
